This  6-week class with artist Beverly Ress teaches the basic components of drawings representationally, translating the 3-dimensional scene to the  2-dimensional plane of paper.

The cost is $200 for the 6-week class. Registration Deadline is June 19.

About the instructor: Beverly Ress has been teaching drawing for over 15 years at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Catholic University, Georgetown University, and the University of Maryland. She loves nurturing drawing students as they discover how to see, and put that vision on paper. Her own drawings have been included in two national invitational drawing exhibits, among many other group and solo exhibitions. Her 2015 her solo exhibition, The World is a Narrow Bridge was shown at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. Beverly Ress received her MFA in sculpture from the Rinehart School of Sculpture, at the Maryland Institute College of Art and her AB degree in Fine Arts from Earlham College in Richmond, IN.
