In Our Hands: Music Shaped By The New World
Home > "In Our Hands" (DPA) > In Our Hands: Music Shaped By The New World
Presented by the AU Chamber Singers, of the Dept. of Performing Arts
Directed by Casey Cook
Choral music of the New World is a vast and diverse landscape. In preparation for their spring European tour, the American University Chamber Singers have collected an anthology of choral music from across the Americas. They will round out their performance with To the Hands by Pulitzer Prize—winner Caroline Shaw—her modern response to Dietrich Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostri.
