All University-sponsored public events, both on and off-campus, are suspended through May 5 (the last scheduled day of exams this semester). This includes all Spring 2020 semester public events organized by students, all academic and administrative units, and all external individuals and organizations utilizing campus space for events such as conferences. This is necessary to limit close contact among large groups of people, consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance on social distancing.
Patrons who have already purchased tickets to attend concerts or shows at the Katzen Arts Center during the impacted time period should expect to see full refunds issued shortly.
Internationally acclaimed concert pianist and American University musician-in-residence Yuliya Gorenman continues her exploration of Bach’s keyboard masterpieces in the fourth recital of The Gorenman Bach Project.
