Louis Andriessen is one of the most innovative and influential contemporary classical composers alive today. Through his music, he has helped to shed light on social issues, underscored the value of musical influences like jazz and rock in classical music, and explored unusual instrumentation. Our performance will include works by Andriessen as well as those that have inspired him.
