Conductor Leopold Stokowski once said, "A painter paints his pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence." Join the American University Chorus as they explore the nature of sound and silence, including a powerful performance of Jake Runestad's “A Silence Haunts Me.”

COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols: Masks are optional but strongly recommended. N-95, KN-94, or KN-95 masks are especially encouraged. All guests attending AU events must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the start of the performance, and a photo ID. Learn more.
