Chamber Dance Project: Grace, Grandeur & Gatsby

Acclaimed contemporary ballet company Chamber Dance Project returns to the stage with a provocative production of dance, music and shadow. The June season features the world premiere of Gatsby, a powerful and sensuous multi-media work that brings the seductive and dangerous world of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic American novel to life through a striking collage of dance, music and shadow puppetry. Also receiving its world premiere is Gravity to Grace, an eloquent exploration of yearning and grief in a vibrant collection of duets by award-winning choreographer Tommie-Waheed Evans. Prufrock, the 2019 hit with T.S. Eliot’s renowned poem returns, as does Dwellings, a soaring ensemble work by dancer and choreographer Christian Denice, making its stage premiere.

Vaccination Policy for Guests

To ensure our patrons’ health and security, as well as the safety of our performers and staff:
All guests, regardless of age, attending events inside the venue must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the start of the performance, and a photo ID.
“Full vaccination” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA or WHO authorized double-dose vaccines or since receiving the sole dose of FDA or WHO authorized single-dose vaccines. Boosters strongly recommended.

Mask Update: KN95s, N95, KF94 masks are required in all campus buildings.

Performance Unmasked: Safety Notes

Patrons, please note: 
To provide the best performance experience, it is essential that the performers are able to show their full range of skill by being unmasked. For everyone's safety, we are taking the following precautions, including a strict testing protocol for students, crew, directors, and all others involved:
• A minimum distance of six (6) feet will be maintained between performers and the nearest audience members
• Unmasked performers will be tested two (2) times during the week leading up to the performance.
• The second of these tests will be submitted between 48 to 24 hrs before the opening performance.
